As humans, we struggle to comprehend our nonexistence after death because it goes against our natural instinct for self-preservation. Our consciousness and sense of self are deeply ingrained in our existence, making it difficult to imagine a state of being where we no longer exist. Additionally, the concept of nonexistence is abstract and beyond our sensory experience, making it challenging for our minds to grasp.
