Follicles are small sacs within the ovaries that contain developing eggs. The pill, or oral contraceptive, works by suppressing the release of eggs from the ovaries, which in turn prevents the development of follicles. By inhibiting follicle development and ovulation, the pill helps to prevent pregnancy. This is achieved through the hormones in the pill, which regulate the menstrual cycle and prevent the maturation of follicles. **

In ultrasound, follicles can be seen as small, fluid-filled sacs within the ovaries. The ultrasound can show the number of follicles present, their size, and their location within the ovaries. This information can be used to assess the ovarian reserve and to monitor the development of follicles during fertility treatments or to diagnose conditions such as polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). Additionally, ultrasound can also help to determine the presence of mature follicles, which is important for timing ovulation and fertility treatments. **

However, there is a possibility that the hair growth in that area may be affected, depending on the method of mole removal and the depth at which the mole was situated in the skin. In some cases, the hair follicles may be damaged or disrupted during the removal process, leading to changes in hair growth in that specific area. **
